Use a reverse chronological format when drafting your resume, unless you are an entry-level worker or changing career fields. This basically implies that your most recent position is first mentioned, and the remainder of the positions are in descending order.

Be consistent

Whatever blend you want to use bold, italics or fonts make sure you are consistent. If you bold your most recent work title, for example, then it’s crucial that all future titles follow the same format. Just don’t overdo it on whatever layout you ‘re using, that may be distracting.
